June 28 - July 2, Tomsk Polytechnic University and Moscow State University (MSU) will hold the 7th International Conference on Hypervalent Iodine Chemistry (ICHIC-2020), which will be hosted at Moscow State University.
The conference will be dedicated to the memory of Professor Nikolai Zefirov, who made a significant contribution to the field of hypervalent iodine chemistry. The modern scientific community is intensively using reagents with hypervalent iodine in organic chemistry as a soft, environmentally friendly, and cheap alternative to reagents based on heavy metals
The conference program will include six sections, covering all key topics of prevalent iodine chemistry, such as Synthesis, structure and bonding, Applications in organic synthesis, Mechanistic studies, Coordination chemistry, Applications in materials science, and Theoretical and spectroscopic studies. In addition to reports, there will be lectures from international experts from Italy, the USA, Germany, China, France, Japan, and Switzerland.
