The 15th session of the TPU International Scientific Council has been held at the University this week. World-famous scientists gathered together to discuss the prospects of the University development and enhancement of postgraduate programs efficiency.
The session was traditionally chaired by the Head of the International Scientific Council, the professor at Israel Institute of Technology (Technion), the winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Chemistry Dan Shechtman.
The three-day agenda included working on the most pressing issues for the University. The scientists from Israel, Germany, and Austria had working meetings with directors and fellows of newly-established research schools of TPU, e.g. the Research School of Chemistry & Applied Biomedical Sciences and the Research School of High Energy Physics.
In addition, they held a round table devoted to enhancement of postgraduate programs with the Center for Digital Education.
Yesterday the members of the International Scientific Council summarized the work of the 15th session.
