TPU students may assist UNI4CITY

Until 30 August 2018 TPU students may apply for the competition of assistants of the International Students Session UNI4CITY to be held within the 3rd University Cities Forum on Leveraging University Vitality for Urban and Regional Development. TPU students can become co-organizers of the youth educational event that is scheduled for 28-30 November 2018.

UNI4CITY is a unique opportunity for students to gain new professional competencies aimed at the development of the university cities through international experience for solving tasks in the field of urban science, culture, social structure, and development projects.

TPU students can apply for the following positions:

  • manager of an educational program (managing educational events and interactive zones of the session, monitoring of equipment availability to run the events, working with volunteer interpreters);
  • manager of a social-cultural program (organizing official opening and awarding ceremonies, sightseeing tours, and evening go-outs, keeping the good mood of all participants);
  • delegate manager (selecting participants for the session, involving university delegations, giving information on the session agenda, registration and summarizing statistics, advising, preparing certificates and diplomas);
  • manager for experts and speakers (coordinating arrivals and registration of experts, speakers and honorary guests, accompanying them to events, working with them and their speeches, informing about time and venue of lectures or meetings);
  • partner relationship manager (developing commercial proposals, searching for potential partners, conducting negotiations, organizing partner participation in the session agenda);
  • PR and marketing manager (promoting and covering the event in social networks, compiling photo- and video materials, ensuring technical support for media, interacting with media during the session);
  • supply manager (attracting barter partners to provide the necessary materials and arrange coffee breaks, coordinating participants during meals, preparing souvenirs).

The students will be given the corresponding instructions, provided with the necessary skills and competencies and branded attributes.

We seek for highly efficient, mobile students able to make quick decisions, cope with stress, and have sound communication skills.

In order to become a co-organizer of the session, it is necessary to fill in the application and submit it by e-mail to KovalevaOI@tomsk.gov.ru. You will get feedback at the e-mail account specified during registration and will be invited for an interview.
