Tomsk Polytechnic University will host Africa Day on Friday, 24 May. The festive program includes a quiz, dances and songs, a play, a show of national costumes and much more.
Guests will see a video presentation of African countries, be able to test their knowledge in the quiz, and attend a mini-exhibition. African students who study at TPU, SSMU, TSPU, and TSU prepared a fascinating concert program.
‘During the festival, you can listen to playing drums, see traditional dances mixed with modern choreography. The students will also perform a Russian national dance and sing a song,’
add the organizers at the TPU International Students Office.
Africa Day is scheduled on Friday, 24 May at the TPU International Culture Center (13v Usova St.) from 17:30 to 19:30. The entrance is free for everyone.
The guests will see a performance about love and a national costume show.
The program is prepared by students of Tomsk universities who came from different African countries including Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Cote d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Algeria, Morocco, and others. About 40 of them study at Tomsk Polytechnic University.
