TPU researchers learned how to change convective flow movement inside liquids

Researchers from Tomsk Polytechnic University and the Kutateladze Institute of Thermophysics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences conducted a comprehensive study and found out how modulated local heating changes motion in a liquid. These data will help to more accurately control mixing of substances in microreactors and heat exchange in thin liquid films.
