Reference Center for Ionizing Radiation in Medicine Opened at TPU
Tomsk Polytechnic University has launched a Technological Reference Center for Ionizing Radiation in Medicine. Its mission is to improve the quality of treatment in oncology centers across the country through large-scale and comprehensive transfer of new research and developments to clinical practice. The project was supported by the federal program Priority 2030 and the national project Science and Universities. The Center is already equipped with a virtual radiation therapy simulation system that is unique in the country. It is also planned that the center will become a regional accreditation platform for medical physicists.
