International Students to Discuss Prospects of First Step in Science in Russia

International students are welcome to submit their applications to take part in the II International Conference “Scientific Initiative of International Students and Postgraduates”. The Conference will be held in a hybrid mode on April 26-28.

International students are welcome to submit their applications to take part in the II International Conference “Scientific Initiative of International Students and Postgraduates”. The Conference will be held in a hybrid mode on April 26-28. The Conference will become a part of the festive events coincided with the two milestone anniversaries. This year, the TPU Division for Russian Language celebrates its 30th anniversary, meanwhile, the TPU Pre-University Department training international enrollees celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Over 10 years, the Conference entitled “Scientific Initiative of International Students and Postgraduates” has become a venue for international scientific communication. It traditionally gathers together representatives of 30-40 countries studying at Russian universities on the TPU venue. Since the last year, students and postgraduates from China, Italy, Mongolia and Vietnam have joined the Conference participants.

“The distinguishing feature of our conference is that only international attendees, bachelor’s and master’s degree students, postgraduates can become participants. The participants present articles and reports in Russian discussing problems of humanities, social and engineering sciences.

This year's Conference is included in the list of academic events, winners of which are treated as candidates obtained maximum possible 100 scores according to the results of entrance examinations for corresponding majors of master’ degrees,” says Nina Shakhova, Associate Professor of the TPU Division for Russian Language.

The Conference will cover the following topics: Current Problems of History of Artistic Culture and Problems of Modern Philosophy, Balance of Art and Project Management in Engineering Education, Prospects of First Step in Science for Attendees of Pre-University Departments and Faculties. The All-Russian round table is one of the key Conference events. This year, participants of the round table will discuss the best practices of pre-university departments of Russia. Anniversary events of the TPU Division for Russian Language and Pre-University Department arranged on April 29 will end up the II International Conference.

International students willing to take part in the Conference have to submit their applications on the Conference website and send an article for further publication until March 20. To send an article and read the article submission guidelines is possible following the link.

Up to date, the Organizing Committee has approved over 30 applications from international students studying at universities of Columbia, China, Ecuador, Italy and Russia.
