Medical Examination for Internationals Coming to TPU from Abroad

On December 29, 2021, new rules for foreign citizens coming to work, study or with other purposes for over three months took effect in Russia.

In accordance with amendments in the law “Concerning the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and their family members older than seven years are obliged to provide certificates proving that they are not drug addicts and do not have infectious diseases, including HIV, syphilis and tuberculosis.

Besides, they have to take an X-ray examination and provide their fingerprints and a biometric photo.

The Center for Multifunctional Medical Services, a branch of the Zdorovie group of companies (15, Building 1 Irkutsky Trakt) provides services for undergoing a medical examination based on the new rules for foreign citizens.

To undergo a medical examination, a foreign citizen must provide the Center with the following documents:

  • Foreign passport (its Russian translation if required)
  • Migration card
  • Visa (if applicable)
  • Resident registration in the Russian Federation.

The price of the medical examination is 4,500 rubles.
