TPU develops cooperation with Tsinghua University, BRICS best university

The delegation from Tomsk Polytechnic University headed by Rector Petr Chubik has visited Tsinghua University and conducted talks on cooperation with Vice-Rector for External Affairs Professor Shi Yigong and representatives of the university’s institutes. Tsinghua University is a leading university in BRICS countries: it takes the first place in the QS University Rankings BRICS and 25th in the QS World University Rankings.     At Tsinghua University TPU delegates met representatives of the Department of Engineering Physics, the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, the School of Materials Science and Engineering, and the School of Information Science and Technology.   As a result, the parties agreed on scientific and educational cooperation in the field of non-destructive testing and nuclear technology. TPU students will have an opportunity to study at the leading Asian university and one of the world’s best universities on academic exchange programs and summer schools.   This summer the TPU Institute of Non-Destructive Testing and the TU Department of Engineering Physics signed an agreement of cooperation in the field of science and education. This will include joint research and engineering projects, academic exchange programs, internships for staff members and scientists, joint scientific supervision of graduation and research works.
