TPU researchers: silver-based medicine reduces toxic effects of arsenic
TPU researchers, together with their foreign colleagues, have proved that Argovit, a drug based on silver nanoparticles, can reduce toxic effects of arsenic on human lymphocytes. The data obtained speak for the prospects of using the drug as a protective agent in case of contact with genotoxic substances in the environment or in industries.
