TPU researchers invented a way to make glowing materials from natural minerals
Researchers from Tomsk Polytechnic University together with their colleagues have proposed a simple and environmentally friendly way to synthesize luminescent materials based on well-known natural minerals - marble, chalk and limestone. The new approach makes it possible to produce bright red glowing samples without using expensive reagents.
