Winners of International Olympiad Complete Master’s Degree Course at TPU

Tomsk Polytechnic University is holding an Olympiad entitled Your First Success 2022 for international enrollees coming from the far abroad. Olympiad winners will be able to complete a master’s degree course at TPU within a quota provided by the Government of the Russian Federation.

Tomsk Polytechnic University is a recognized international center of world-class engineering education. At the moment, over 2,800 international students from 65 counties study at TPU. They come from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ghana, Nigeria, India and other countries. There is multicultural environment at TPU for comfortable and successful studying of international students. All international students are provided with rooms in modern TPU residence of halls. TPU possesses not only developed research and academic facilities but also one of the best campuses in Russia with sports and cultural facilities available for all students.

TPU has been holding the Olympiad since 2015. The Olympiad is aimed at undergraduates from overseas higher education institutions planning to continue their study in a master’s degree course at a Russian university.

The feature of this year's Olympiad is that the winners will be provided with a right to study within quotas of the Government of the Russian Federation.

Moreover, it is quite essential that the Olympiad winners will send their application documents at TPU until April 4, 2022. Otherwise, the results will be canceled,” says Alexander Denisevich, Head of the TPU Admission Office.

The Olympiad is being held until March 27, 2022. The winners will be defined based on rankings of participants’ results. The winners must obtain not less than 70 scores.

The Olympiad is being held online in three modules: engineering, natural science and IT.

To take part in the Olympiad, follow the required module link, log in, sign in for an exam and complete Olympiad tasks.

Every participant can complete one or two Olympiad modules out of three and choose one area of a master’s degree program in each module. It is given 60 minutes to complete each module. To complete two modules simultaneously, it is given up to 120 minutes.
