Over 80 companies to participate in Career Days in TPU
Career Days in Tomsk Polytechnic University will be held on 3-4 April 2019. Representatives of large Russian and international companies will meet students, present their vacancies and opportunities for practical training and internships. TPU students are welcome to master classes, a case competition, and a workshop on financial mathematics. Over 45 companies will give live presentations and 76 will participate in a poster session within a Job Fair.
Head of the TPU Office of Internship and Employment Support Vitaliy Grebennikov tells:
‘Career Days in TPU is the largest career event of the year. This time students have got an opportunity to prepare for participation in the Career Days by attending master classes on CV making, self-presentation and time management which were held in March.
The number of companies (about 83) registered to participate in events is a confirmation of extremely high interest in TPU, its students, and graduates. Every year the list of participants is replenished by new and interesting employers.’
For the first time, Job Fair at TPU are joined by the pharmaceutical company Biocad; a manufacturer of mining equipment Metal-Mechanical Plant; KCA Deutag Russia – the Russian division of KCA Deutag, one of the world's leading drilling and engineering contractors; RTC Anklav – an expert in industrial safety; Becker Mining System Rus – a world’s leading supplier for mining infrastructure. Center for Employment of the Population of Tomsk and Tomsk District will present a Job Placement Project for Russian Far East.
On Wednesday, April 3, TPU students and graduates will be able to attend companies presentations that will be held in different TPU buildings and to take part in a job quest, as well as to improve their skills at master classes of employers.
On Thursday, April 4, everyone is welcome to the Job Fair at 14.30 – 17.00 in the TPU International Culture Center (13v Usova St.). Students will be offered a great number of vacancies, places for practice and internships, as well as a career café with treats and summing up the quest.
